Taking proper nutrients can make your brain function properly thereby making you feel energetic. It also brings a change in attitude as well as behaviour.

At times, it is not possible to take proper breakfast or lunch, so let’s find out the food we should include in our diet to keep us in a good mood:


Vitamin B plays a very important role in fighting anxiety and depression. Our brain demands serotonin for proper functioning which can only be derived from the sources of Vitamin B such as spinach, broccoli and other green leafy vegetables. Spinach is full of antioxidants and Vitamin K. So, it plays a key role in even strengthening the bones.


You might have read that our body mainly constitutes of water. So, drinking more and more water will save our body from getting dehydrated. It even protects the body from various problems such as kidney stone. Starting your day with a glass of boiled water with lemon will keep you refreshed and fit. Moreover, drinking about one to two litres of water daily will remove impurities from the body. It gives a glow to the face and calms the mind.

Juicy Fruits

Fruits are the favourite food of people during hot summers. Eating fruits daily keeps the body hydrated. It also provides necessary minerals and vitamins which keeps various diseases at bay, fights depression and strengthens the immune system. Eating your favourite fruit will uplift your mood and satisfy your taste buds too. No matter if you are an aged person or a kid, fruits are beneficial for all.


Bananas act as a powerhouse of nutrients. It supplies energy to the body since it is rich in Vitamin B, fibre, phosphorous, potassium, carbohydrate, Vitamin A, C, B6 as well as iron. Eating banana regularly will improve digestion and keep the blood pressure at a stable level. Moreover, the minerals present in it fight anxiety and depression.


If you feel lethargic and hungry, then coconut will play an important role in providing energy to the body. It consists of triglycerides that provide instant energy to the body rather than getting stored. So, one can drink coconut water to get refreshed and give a boost of energy to the body.
