Anxiety is one of the common conditions with people today. It is not a good condition as it affects our productivity level, metal state and quality of life. It can be caused by various factors both internally as well as externally.

One of the common reasons of anxiety is the imbalanced sugar level. Too high or too low sugar level can exhaust our brain thereby disturbing our hormones. As a result of anxiety and irregular sugar level, people suffer from different diseases. However, it can be regulated by eating certain food items.   

Taking a balanced diet will help your body to overcome anxiety at a great level. Moreover, the balanced diet must contain a proper amount of carbohydrate and fat along with proteins and varied nutrients.

Green Leafy Vegetables

You might have heard from your parents about the benefits of eating green vegetables. Our body derives nutrition, mainly magnesium from green leafy vegetables. Magnesium is vital for all the biochemical reactions in the body and during its insufficiency, the body may start generating anxiety. Food items such as pumpkin seeds and avocados are also amazing to reduce anxiety.

Oysters

As a kid, your parents might have asked you to eat non vegetarian food regularly. Have you ever wondered why? Food such as oysters, lambs, meat, etc are rich in Zinc which enhances our immune and nervous system. As the level of zinc starts decreasing, your mind will become more fretful and the copper level in the body will start inducing at a large proportion. So, to balance the zinc level in the body, you should eat oysters.  

Food rich in Omega 3s

Nuts, flaxseeds, walnuts and various other seeds and some species of fishes like salmon and sardines are known to reduce anxiety and body inflammation since they are rich in omega-3s.

These natural fast foods are rich in fiber and carbs that results in better metabolism. These carbs are a package of minerals and nutrients helping the body to break down the food into smaller fragments.
