With winters almost knocking on our door, one thing that we all fret is cough and cold that is at their peak during this season. So, to help you fight against the cold and nourish your body most effectively, we bring before you MasterChef Pankaj Bhadouria’s masala gud recipe. Pankaj Bhadouria shared this effective recipe on Instagram and captioned the video as: “Let us get ready for the winters coming! … Whenever at the end of a meal, someone asks you “Meetha meinkya hai”? Offer them this healthy and delicious option- Masala Gud!” So, delight your taste buds with the goodness of jaggery and Indian spices. 

Ingredients Required For Making Masala Gud

1. Ghee – ½ tsp

2. Fox nuts – 1 tsp

3. Grated jaggery – 2 cups

4. Dry ginger powder – ½ tsp

5. Carom seeds – ½ tsp

6. Black salt – ¼ tsp

7. Toasted peanuts – ½ cup

8. Almonds – ¼ cup

9. Cumin seeds – ½ tsp

Pankaj Bhadouria’s Masala Gud Recipe That You’ll Love

1. Take a frying pan and add ghee to it. Next, add fox nuts and roast them for a while.

2. Then, in another frying pan, take grated jaggery and add dry ginger powder, carom seeds and black salt to it. Mix all of these properly and let it cook properly.

3. Next, add fox nuts, toasted peanuts, almonds and crushed cumin seeds to it.

4. Mix all of these and transfer masala gud to a plate.

5. Later, let it cool and settle for some time and finally relish the goodness of masala gud.
