It is one of the best exercises to make your child grow taller. Swimming helps stretch the muscles throughout the entire body. This stimulates the release of growth hormone by the pituitary glands which helps in enhancing the growth of the body causing an increase in height.
Most kids love skipping. It can also be used as an exercise to increase height. As they skip, their body stretches and hence they grow a few micrometers every time they perform this exercise.
Jogging is beneficial for adults and kids alike. Encourage a jogging habit in your kid by accompanying them, so that the exercise turns into an enjoyable experience.
Stretching is said to be one of the most effective ways to increase your kid’s height. If your kid loves to hang from bars at the playground, that could be just great. Hanging exercises are also effective in straightening and elongating your child’s spine. Pull-ups are a very beneficial hanging exercise to promote height growth.
Another effective way of enhancing your child’s height is ankle weights. The main purpose of this tool is to stretch the lower part of the body. when the cartilage between your child’s knees is stretched, it makes him taller. Make sure to use smaller weights in the beginning and increase it gradually as your child grows stronger.
Yoga Asanas such as Surya Namaskar and Chakrasana are the best for helping your child grow taller. These poses stretch the complete body and hence encourage height growth. Make sure your child calms his breathing before doing this pose.
Good posture can make your child look both thinner and taller. Your child looks shorter if he is slouching, it immediately takes away inches from their height. By improving their posture, they can look taller even without actually growing.
Apart from the above, ensure that you give your child a balanced diet with all the nutrients and make him/her sleep for at least 8 hours at night so that he/she stays active throughout the day. Although a nutritious diet and exercise will help a lot, results might take time to show and may vary from child to child.
