Soon after your bath, lock your skin from becoming dry soon with a proper moisturizer. Go for those lotions and moisturizers that will help in reducing wrinkles and tighten your skin. You can also try essential oils in order to rejuvenate your skin cells. Apply these creams overnight on your elbows, hands and other areas where the skin seems thinner. This will lock the moisture content and protect your skin.

Though hot water showers might make you feel good and comfortable in the cold weather, it is only temporary. It will further damage your skin layers, leading to cracks and bleeding. Take a short warm water shower as overexposure to hot water might damage the skin cells in winter.
