Skincare Tips given by our Grandmothers!

The most beautiful part of our body is our face. In other words, we can also say that our face is our identity. Nowadays there are many products available in the market that guarantee fair and flawless skin. However, these products actually have an adverse effect on our skin. It may spoil our beauty too. Are you also frustrated with these products and their side effects, then use some home remedies that have come to us from our grandmother’s kitchen.

Things which our grannies used to apply on their face were completely natural and now all those ingredients are being used in to manufacture commercially available creams and serums etc. However, these can have some side effects on our skin so why not use your granny’s skincare remedies?

Today, we bring to you some tips that will give you fair and glowing skin, without any side effects-

 

1) Tulsi Leaves

Tulsi contains electrolytes, vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients. It works as a natural detoxifying agent as it cleanses our skin deeply. It also soothes skin inflammation. Tulsi leaves possess antibacterial properties too.

How to apply?

Take some tulsi leaves and make a paste. Now mix this paste with water. Apply this mixture on your face gently and leave it for some time. Rinse it with normal water. You can do this on a regular basis. It will reduce acne and pimples from your face.

 

2) Orange Peel

Orange peels are mainly used for removing sunburns and tan from our face.

How to apply?

Take a tablespoon of orange peel powder, a pinch of turmeric powder, and a tablespoon of honey. Make a paste of it. Apply it on your face and neck gently. Leave it for 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse your face with rose water.

Note – Do not apply this paste on your face, if you have pimples.

 

3) Neem Leaves

Neem leaves cleanse our skin and help us to enhance our beauty. We can get these leaves anywhere very easily and can use it in many ways.

How to apply?

Boil neem leaves in hot water, keep a ball of cotton in it and then rub it on your face. Neem leaves can be used as a paste also by adding curd or cucumber in it.

 

4) Coconut Oil

Coconut oil works as a brilliant moisturizer which can be easily used daily instead of any other artificial moisturizer. It provides moisture to our skin and makes it soft and smooth. We can use it for our dry lips too. Coconut oil is an anti-aging agent. It also gives us wrinkle-free skin.

 

5) Papaya Face Pack

Papaya hydrates the skin and makes it glowing and shiny. It contains anti-aging properties which give us a wrinkle-free and flawless skin. It also makes our skin tone even by reducing pigmentation. We can use this fruit as a face pack. It makes our skin radiant and also provides relief to our skin from the scorching heat of the sun.
