Losing weight is a very difficult process. Nowadays, whenever we eat something, we are afraid of its actual effect on our health. If we talk about fruits, most people do not think they can increase the weight, but this is wrong! Yes, by eating some fruits your weight really can increase.

1) Banana

Banana is a fruit that can work both ways to increase and to decrease the body weight – the difference is caused by the time at which we eat it. If we want it to cause weight loss, then we should eat a banana as morning breakfast or for lunch. These provide us with energy to work all day long. But if we consume 2 or more bananas daily, then they can increase our weight.


2) Avocado

Avocado contains abundant calories, which works towards causing weight gain. About 400 calories are found in 250 gm fruit of Avocado.


3) Dates

If you are thinking of losing weight then you should stay away from dates. Dates are very rich in calories. There are 114 calories in 4-5 dates, which can cause weight gain.


4) Raisins

Raisins are rich in fructose and glucose, which accelerate the process of weight gain. They provide us with the strength to work every day and increase the weight as well.


5) Grapes

Grapes are the favorite fruit of most of the people. But grapes contain huge amounts of carbohydrates, which can increase our weight.


6) Coconut

The protein present in coconut can increase our weight. It also contains a good amount of fat in it. That is why if you are thinking of losing weight then you should keep yourself away from coconuts.


7) Mango

The mango is said to be the king of fruits but it has an abundant amount of carbohydrate in it. Being the most popular fruit of the summer season, throughout the year people wait for the summer just for mangoes, but if you are thinking of losing weight, then you must stay away from mangoes.


Some fruits that should be consumed for weight loss:

1) Apples

Apple is rich with phytonutrients and antioxidants which help lose weight. It is also the main source of various vitamins and fiber.


2) Watermelon

Watermelons can work wonders in reducing weight. Eating watermelon fills the stomach very quickly, which kills our appetite and prevents us from getting hungry too quickly. This is a low-calorie fruit containing a very little amount of fat and cholesterol.

3) Orange

Vitamin C is found in abundance in orange which can burn calories from our body very easily.


4) Pear

Pears are amazing in regulating our appetite. They fall into the category of superfood, which is rich in fibre. Fibre helps in absorbing vitamins and other nutrients in our body.
