The comeback movie of Kareena post her delivery created waves. The bond between these school friends was enviable. They always had each others back and had super fun holidays. The Indian version of Sex and the City did create ripples at the box office as well!
The movie had an interesting shade of friendship between the characters Vijayalaxmi and Rani. This chemistry between the characters added spark to the movie. Dancing at the bar, getting drunk, traveling and overcoming heartbreak and the list goes on. These two do give us the inspiration to travel and enjoy life to the fullest.
The movie had an important social message, it revolved around how a group of girls who were molested by rich politically connected boys, fight a case for being harassed and framed. The three flatmates are always supporting each other through this period of trial.
The movie inspired by Jane Austen’s novel ‘Emma’ with a Delhi twist. Best friends Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Ira Dubey are the high society South Delhi girls, who try to transform the Bahadurgarh Amrita Puri to get her married to a rich brat. The girls have fun splurging on the latest designer wear from Dior to Chanel. In a hilarious scene, the three of them wonder if they will die single!!
Rani and Preity’s chemistry of friendship and camaraderie can be seen in the popular song “Piya Piya O Piya”. The two play best friends who end up falling in love with the same guy.
