Glowing Skin Secrets from Your Kitchen

We all spend thousands of money on our trips to the salon for that perfect skin. Every now and then we try different creams and supplements that would nourish our skin and give it a healthy glow. How would you feel when you come to know that secret to glowing skin is hidden in your kitchen? Here is a list of kitchen treasures that will help your skin glow.

1. Raw Milk:

Raw milk has nutrients that remove dirt from your skin and make your skin supple and soft. The lactic acid present in raw milk acts as an exfoliator, ultimately leading to glowing skin. Apply raw milk with cotton on your face and wash off after 15 minutes.

2. Yogurt

The lactic acid present in the yogurt acts as a natural exfoliator that helps remove the dead skin cells and revealing a glow on your skin. Combine yogurt with oatmeal and make a natural exfoliator that will help your skin glow.

3.  Aloe Vera

Auxin and Gibberellins present in aloe vera have anti-inflammatory and healing properties that reduce redness and acne. Regular application of aloe vera on the skin will reveal a healthy glow and keep your pimples on check. It is good for all skin types.

4. Raw Honey-

Raw honey has anti-bacterial properties, preventing breakouts and skin damage, making your skin soft and supple. Just apply a thin layer of honey all over your face and wash it off after 10 minutes with lukewarm water.

5. Papaya

Rich in beta-carotene that is filled with powerful enzymes and phytochemicals that are great for all skin types. Nutrient papain is also present in papaya which is said to have skin lightening properties. Apply raw papaya pulp on your face neck and witness a glowing skin just after the first use.

6. Tomato

Tomatoes have anti-inflammatory properties that help in preventing cellular damage. Tomatoes also help in unclogging pores and reduce acne. Apply tomato pulp all over your face and wash away with lukewarm water after 10 minutes.

7. Turmeric

The curcumin present in turmeric has antiseptic properties that can control breakouts and protect the skin cells from radical damage. Turmeric helps in restoring the natural glow and also treat uneven skin tone. Mix ¼ teaspoon of turmeric with one teaspoon of honey and apply this pack on your face and neck, wash it off after 20 minutes.



Besan is a natural cleanser that absorbs excess oil and dirt from the skin and reveals a healthy-looking skin. Mix besan with tomato pulp and lemon and apply this face pack on your skin, leave for 20 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water.
