Through her Instagram post on her page, @anshukayoga stated in her caption, “We have all heard different versions of what one should and should not do related to Yoga.” And she goes on to point out the ones that she has often heard.

To quote a few “Yoga is only for women”, “Yoga cannot make you lose weight” are some of the common myths that people follow blindfolded. To unveil the first myth, this couldn’t be farther from the truth. Yoga is a practice that aligns your mind, body, and soul while using different postures which help in building your strength and fitness. It is not gender specific, rather gender neutral

Again, there are different Asanas that use various muscles in your body and challenge your muscle strength, flexibility, and overall fitness. Yoga is not a lazy workout – it can make you break into sweat!


Kareena Kapoor Khan recently posted a picture of herself captioned “Back at my most favorite spot… My yoga mat, with my favorite girl.” And tagged her yoga trainer Anshuka Parwani. This shows that yoga is not just a compilation of many asanas but it is a lifestyle trusted by your favorite celebrities.
