When you think of airports, you think of expensive outlets. Especially when it comes to buying food, no wonder they are exorbitant.
But since the coronavirus hit, a lot of travellers changed their preferences because of the financial crunch and their spending capabilities decreased drastically.
Due to the pandemic that left a hole in the pockets of many travelers and migrants who thronged to the busiest airports including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata spending money on food wasn’t a viable option for many.
As a result, many budgeted outlets were opened to serve the travelers who were majorly blue collar workers and migrants flocking to their hometown economical meals.
Majorly the meals were priced below INR 100. To name a few, Dal Khichdi with pickle and garlic chutney was priced at Rs 99, Pav Bhaji was priced at Rs 120.
Next time you travel to your hometown via air, don’t forget to go to the F&B Outlets for an economical option.
