This special recipe is shared by Ranveer Brar and is also very easy to make. So, do not wait long, wear your apron and make this delicious khichdi while you observe fast.

 

Ingredients Required For Making Vrat Ke Chawal Ki Khichdi

  1. Ghee – 1 tbsp
  2. Cumin seeds – 1tsp
  3. Curry leaves
  4. Potatoes – 2
  5. Roasted Peanut – 2 tbsp
  6. Green chilli – 3
  7. Barnyard millet – 1 cup
  8. Water
  9. Sendha namak – according to taste
  10. Makhana
  11. Peanut – 1 tbsp
  12. Pomegranate

 

Ranveer Brar’s Vrat Ke Chawal Ki Khichdi Recipe

  1. First, heat some ghee in a kadhai. Add cumin seeds, curry leaves, and potatoes to it.
  2. Then, add peanuts and green chilli to it.
  3. Later, add barnyard millet, sendha namak and again saute. Then, let it cook for some time.
  4. On another side, heat ghee and deep fry makhana and peanuts in it. Fry them till they turn golden brown.
  5. When everything is cooked add the fried makhana and peanuts to the cooked khichdi. Let all of it cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Finally, when vrat ke chawal ki khichdi is ready, garnish it with peanuts, pomegranate and green chillies.
