1. Rava – 2 cup
2. Salt – according to taste
3. Sugar – 1 tbsp
4. Buttermilk – 2 cup
5. Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
6. Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
7. Lemon juice
8. Curry leaves – 10
9. Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
10. Green chilli – 2
For sandwich dhokla:
1. Tomato – 1
3. Capsicum – 1
4. Onion – 1
1. Take a bowl and add rava, salt, sugar and buttermilk. Mix all of these ingredients properly and after that keep them aside for some time.
2. Add oil to the batter. Also, add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and eno to the batter.
3. Then grease a pan with some oil and pour the dhokla batter into it.
4. Let it steam for some time.
5. After dhokla is steamed properly, cut dhokla into small pieces.
6. Then for the topping, first saute curry leaves, mustard seeds and green chilli.
7. Then, top the dhokla with the above mixture.
For sandwich dhokla:
1. First, cut capsicum, onion and tomato into small pieces.
2. You can also choose some other toppings of your choice.
3. Then take 2 pieces of dhokla and add a layer of green chutney on one side and imli chutney on another.
4. Then, add the filling in between the dhokla and garnish it with paneer, bhujia, coriander leaves and more.
