You just need two bowls for this. Take ice cold water in one bowl and hot water in the other one. The hot water should not be too hot for you to touch. Start with cold water. Dip the affected area in the cold water for a minute and then dip it in hot water for 30 seconds. Repeat this for 15 minutes. This will help to reduce the swelling and stiffness in the joints.
5) Chamomile Tea Compress
The anti-inflammatory properties of chamomile tea are very effective in relieving joint pains. Take 4 chamomile tea bags and immerse them in a cup of boiling water for 20 minutes, while keeping the cup covered. Now squeeze these tea bags. Take a clean cloth. Dip it in the chamomile water and put it on the affected area like a compress.
