  • 4 Salmon steaks
  • Vegetable oil/coconut oil – for shallow frying
  • Salt – to season
  • South Indian spice marinade
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Freshly milled black pepper
  • 1 inch piece Ginger
  • 2 large Garlic cloves
  • 2 Shallots/small onion
  • Juice of half a lemon

  1. Clean, wash and pat dry the salmon steaks.
  2. Season the steak pieces with salt.
