Ingredients to make Coriander paneer

  • 300 grm paneer ( cottage cheese )
  • Corainder leaves 1 bunch
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • Ginger green chilli paste 2 tsp
  • 2 green chillies
  • Red chilli powder 2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 2tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • Oil 2 tsp

How to make Coriander paneer

  1. First cut paneer into big cubes. Now take a big bowl - add paneer , 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder, salt as per taste and lemon juice. Mix all ingredients well. Keep this for marination for about 30 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile take a grinder, add coriander leaves and green chilli and some water. Process all ingredients well and make a thick paste. Keep this aside .
  3. Now take a pan add 2 tsp oil, when oil is getting hot, add ginger garlic paste , saute it for about 5 - 7 minutes.then add finely chopped onions and saute it until onions become trasluscent. Now add coriander and green chilli paste and cook until oil starts to separates.
  4. Now add remaining red chilli powder, coriander powder , garam masala powder and salt as per taste. Cook again for 2- 3 minutes.
  5. Now add marinated paneer cubes and cook for 5- 7 minutes. Coriander paneer is ready. Serve hot. Enjoy as side dish or with chapati .

My Tip:

You can use mint leaves also along with coriander leaves.
