About Brushetta Recipe

A classic Italian appetizer which captures the flavors of tomatoes, fresh basil, garlic, and olive oil.

Brushetta

Ingredients to make Brushetta

  • 1 Baguette Bread
  • 2 tsp garlic minced
  • 3 tbps olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)
  • 2 cups sliced tomatoes
  • 1/3 cup Basil Leaves
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp Ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

How to make Brushetta

  1. Cut the bread in half length-wise and toast till crisp.
  2. Combine the tomatoes, garlic, basil, vinegar, olive oil, cheese, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl and mix well.
  3. Leave for 15 mins to let the flavours marinate.
  4. Slice the bread into individual pieces and spoon the mixture on top.
