Veg Pulav

Ingredients to make Veg Pulav

  • 1 cup Basmati rice
  • Whole spices:
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 big cardamom
  • 3 small cardamom
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 potato cubes
  • 1 carrot chopped
  • 10-12 florets of cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup Green peas
  • 10-12 French Beans
  • Few strands of kesar

How to make Veg Pulav

  1. Heat the wok. Add some oil and let it get heated.
  2. Add whole spices and jeera. Add sliced onions and saute till light brown. Add ginger-garlic paste followed by all the vegetables.
  3. Add salt, garam masala and add the rice.
  4. Saute well and add water, lemon juice and cook the rice.
  5. Finally add kesar soaked in milk over rice and cook for 2 minutes. Serve hot.
