About Sayal Bhaji Recipe

Garlic and coriander with vegetables.

Sayal Bhaji

Ingredients to make Sayal Bhaji

  • 20 garlic flakes
  • 3 tbsp Thin chopped coriander
  • 2 green chillies
  • One teaspoon anardana
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 big potato cut in 1 inch round slices
  • 15 pcs gavar just cut the cap and the end
  • 8 bhindis cut long with slit
  • Can add brinjal or cauliflower but its optional

How to make Sayal Bhaji

  1. First in a chopper chop garlic, coriander, chillies, anardana and tomato.
  2. Take oil in a cooker put this chopped masala in the oil and add all the dry masalas and cook till the oil seperates then put the veggies and mix and stir for 5 minutes.
  3. Then put half cup water and cover the cooker and keep it for 5 to 7 minutes till the veggies are done, serve hot with phulkas.

My Tip:

If you chop the masala with hand in the silbatta, it will taste amazing.
