Ingredients to make Eggless chocolate cherry brownies

  • 1 cup all purpose flour/ maida
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar or castor sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1tsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 cup cherries to top- halved with a knife ( you can also use 1/2 cup chocolate chips or walnuts or chocolate chunks or just leave it out)

How to make Eggless chocolate cherry brownies

  1. Pre heat oven to 170 degrees C.
  2. Grease a square pan (9x9) and line with parchment paper.
  3. Add vinegar to milk and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl- flour, baking soda, cocoa powder and salt and sugar.
  5. Add the curdled milk to this mixture. Also add the melted butter and mix gently just until incorporated.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and add halved cherries on top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with few crumbs stuck to it.
  8. Cool completely and cut into small squares and enjoy!

My Tip:

Will keep in the fridge for 3-4 days.
