ABOUT Cake Pops RECIPE

Cake pops are made out of crumbled cake ,butter cream frosting and dipped into melted chocolate.They appear beautiful and delicious with lovely sprinkles.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 250 gms crumbled chocolate cake
  2. Lollipop sticks
  3. 250 gms Milk Chocolate
  4. Butter cream frosting 1 to 1 1/2 tbsp
  5. Sprinkles to your choice
  6. Styrofoam block or a glass

Instructions

  1. In a bowl mix crumbled chocolate cake with 1 tbsp butter cream frosting .
  2. When mixed should look a little crumbled and not sticky
  3. Make lemon sized balls and refrigerate them for 15 minutes.
  4. Remove and roll to make it smooth
  5. Melt chocolate using double boiler method.
  6. Dip lollipop sticks 1/2 " in the melted chocolate.
  7. Insert into the cake balls a little less than half way.
  8. Refrigerate for half an hour.
  9. Remove and dip in melted chocolate tap gently to remove excess chocolate.
  10. Garnish with sprinkles of your choice
  11. Place on a styrofoam or glass to dry completely.
  12. Enjoy the chocolatey crunchy cake pops.
