How to make Khoya Gulab Jamuns

  1. Make sugar syrup by adding ingredients for sugar syrup. Bring a good boil, add lemon juice to avoid crystallisation.
  2. Meanwhile mix gulab jamun balls ingredients, knead it well. Make khoya balls, make sure there are no cracks. Heat oil in a wok to a moderate temperature, fry the khoya balls till golden brown, take them out on paper towel.
  3. Transfer the gulab jamun balls in the hot syrup and keep them dipped in sugar syrup for half an hour.
  4. Enjoy your hot and melt in the mouth gulab jamuns!
My Tip: Knead khoya well for 10 minutes. Ensure that there are no cracks in the balls as they can break while frying.
