Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Rice 1 cup
  2. Mint half cup
  3. Green chilli 2
  4. Ginger 3 piece
  5. garlic pod 1
  6. Green coriander 1/2cup
  7. Oil 2 spoon
  8. Salt as per ur need
  9. Coconut 1/4 cup in pieces
  10. Chakri phool 1
  11. Javitri
  12. Cumins 1/2 spoon
  13. Cloves 6
  14. Cardamom 4
  15. Cinnamon 2
  16. Cashew nuts

Instructions

  1. Wash rice and soak it for a 15 minutes. wash mint and coriander leaves, drain them.
  2. Grind mint, coriander, green chilies, ginger garlic, onion or chopped coconut to as smooth as possible without adding water.
  3. Heat a cooker with oil. Add the dry spices and saute till they sizzle.Add the ground paste and fry on a low flame for about 2 to 3 minutes
  4. Add water in it. Bring it to a boil. Add washed and drained rice
  5. Don't close the cooker until almost water evaporates.
  6. When there is very little water left in the cooker, close the lid.
  7. Cook it for about 5 minutes on a low flame and switch off. Do not allow to whistle. Garnish with mint and cashew.
