Ingredients to make Dahi wale Aloo

  • Boiled potatoes - 4 to 5 (medium sized)
  • curd - 1 cup
  • Green chilies (chopped)coriander leaves (optional)
  • asafoetida - 1 pinch
  • cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp
  • Redchilipowder - 1 tsp
  • coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • mango powder - 1 tsp (optional)
  • salt as per taste

How to make Dahi wale Aloo

  1. Take potatoes peel them and cut them into small pieces and you can mash them little bit.Keep aside.
  2. Then take a wok add 2 tsp oil add asafoetida and cumin seeds in it.Let crackle.
  3. Add green chilies and potatoes in it.
  4. Stir thepotatoes and add salt, chili powder, coriander powder,mango powder and mix it well.
  5. Now take the curd whisk it properly and add it into the wok.
  6. Stir itcontinuouslyadd little water (not much).
  7. Then stir it for 2 minutes not more than that otherwise the curd can curdle.
  8. Switch off the flame and garnish it with green coriander leaves.Enjoy it with Jeera Rice or Paranthas.
