Delicious and yummy carrot halwa recipe using butter in 30 min..

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Carrot 250 grams
  2. Sugar 250 grams
  3. Milk one cup
  4. Cardomon powder 1 tablespoon
  5. salt one pinch
  6. All purpose flour( Maida) 2 tablespoon
  7. Butter melted as required
  8. Cashew nuts as required

Instructions

  1. Add shredded carrot in pressure cook with half cup of water , one cup milk , Salt and cardomon powder and pressure cook up to three whistle.
  2. Then keep the stove in simmer .
  3. Add sugar when it boils and saute till it dissolves.
  4. It's becomes watery to make it thicker ...dissolve Maida in three spoons of water and let it cook for three minutes.
  5. Finally saute some cashew nuts in butter till golden brown and add it to halwa.....cook till the butter separates...
  6. Usually halwa is cooked with ghee but i tried with butter which gives nice aroma and taste
