Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Whole black gram 250 gram
  2. Rajma 100 gram
  3. 2 onions
  4. 5 to 6 garlic cloves
  5. 4 tomatoes
  6. 2 inch ginger
  7. 3 tablespoons fresh cream
  8. 200 Gram butter
  9. 2 teaspoon Ghee
  10. 1/4 teaspoon asoefodia
  11. 1/4 teaspoon carom seeds
  12. 1 inch shahi cumin seeds
  13. 2 teaspoon salt
  14. 1 teaspoon red pepper powder
  15. 1 teaspoon garam masala powder

Instructions

  1. Wash and disk pulse and rajma for atleast 6 hours
  2. Boil adding salt till soft for atleast 40 minutes
  3. Meanwhile prepare tadka for daal
  4. Put a pan on medium heat
  5. Add ghee and half of the butter in it
  6. Add asoefodia , carom seeds and cumin seeds
  7. Add ginger and garlic paste..Fry well
  8. Add finely chopped onions
  9. Add tomatoes and green chillies puree
  10. Fry well
  11. Now add all the spices
  12. Add this tadka in boiled daal
  13. Cook for 10 minutes on very slow flame
  14. Keep stirring
  15. Now add cream mix well
  16. Now turn off the flame
  17. Garnish with rest of the butter and serve hot
