ABOUT Delicious Butter Cookies RECIPE

Melt in mouth cookies, just have one and you'll go back to your childhood days.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 2 1/2 cup all purpose flour.
  2. 1 tesp baking powder.
  3. 1/2 cup soft unsalted butter.
  4. 1 egg.
  5. 8 tbsp castor sugar.
  6. 3/4 tesp vanilla essence.
  7. Milk if required to knead.

Instructions

  1. Line a baking tray.
  2. In a bowl beat butter and sugar creamy.
  3. Add egg and beat well.
  4. Now fold in the seived all purpose flour,baking powder and vanilla essence.
  5. Mix well, knead to a soft dough,use milk only if required.
  6. Roll dough to a small lemon size ball ,place at 1" distance on the tray.
  7. Make a slight dint with your thumb on the rolled dough.
  8. Refrigerate it for 20 minutes.
  9. Pre heat oven 180℃ for 10 minutes.
  10. Place tray and bake at 170 ℃ for 15 minutes or till light brown.
  11. Remove cool completely before serving or storing.
  12. Enjoy the divine taste of these butter cookies.
