Mango Kesar Mousse with Mango cream Cheese

Ingredients to make Mango Kesar Mousse with Mango cream Cheese

  • Mango Kesar Mousse:
  • 2 Ripe Mangoes, peeled, chopped deseeded
  • 1/2 tin milkmaid around 200gm
  • 200gm yogurt
  • Few drops of mango essence
  • Zest of one lime
  • Few strands of Kesar
  • Whites of 2eggs(optional)
  • 1/4th cup sugar
  • Mango cream cheese:
  • 1/2 tin milkmaid 
  • cream cheese (I used  Brittania cheese cream tub) 180gm
  • 3 mangoes, peeled, deseeded ,chopped
  • Few drops of Mango essence
  • 1/2 packet mango jelly pack (I used weikfield, do that according to the instruction of the pack) [optional]

How to make Mango Kesar Mousse with Mango cream Cheese

  1. Method for Mousse: Put peeled chopped mangoes, yogurt, milkmaid,lemon zest, and Kesar strands into blender. Blend unless smooth.
  2. Whip the egg whites until soft peaks add sugar and whip again(I used hand blender for this).
  3. Now pour the mix of mango, yogurt, milkmaid into egg whites and mix with light hands.. Keep it refrigerated
  4. For Mango chunks, chop three ripe mangoes into small cubes and keep it aside.
  5. Method for cream cheese Put milkmaid, cream cheese, mangoes, mango essence in the blender, blend until smooth.
  6. Prepare jelly accordingly. Only half pack. Mix the jelly liquid to the cream cheese mix ,refrigerate it.
  7. Then take a glass bowl put the mousse layer , then chopped mangoes, then top it with cream cheese and decorate with few strands of kesar.
  8. Serve it chilled. You can make separate bowls too.
