Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken 250 gm
  2. Curd 1/4 Cup
  3. Turmeric powder 1/2 - 1 spoon
  4. Red chilli powder 1 spoon
  5. Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  6. Coriander powder 1 spoon
  7. Cumin powder 2 spoon
  8. Butter as required
  9. Bay leaf 1 piece
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Sugar 1/4 teaspoon
  12. Water for gravy
  13. Cloves 3 piece
  14. Chopped onion 1 large
  15. Chopped tomato 1 large
  16. Cinnamon 1 inch
  17. Cardamoms 2/3 piece
  18. Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  19. Coriander leaves 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Wash the chicken pieces and add curd, turmeric powder, red chili powder, Salt, ginger garlic paste,Coriander powder, cumin powder. Marinate the chicken and keep aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile in a pan, add butter.
  3. Then add bay leaf, cinnamon, cardamom, cumin seeds, cloves.
  4. When cumin seeds crackle then add chopped onion, tomato. Fry them till onions are brown in colour and tomato become soft.
  5. Now add marinated chicken and mix well everything.
  6. Add salt and sugar . Mix it again.
  7. Now add water as per choice to make gravy. Cook it.
  8. When it cooked properly, turn it into a serving dish and spread chopped coriander leaves.
