Garlic - Cheese and Vegetable Swirl Bread

Ingredients to make Garlic - Cheese and Vegetable Swirl Bread

  • 350 grams All purpose flour
  • 4 tbsp Cheddar Cheese grated
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup Lukewarm water
  • 2 tbsp Dry Yeast
  • 2 to 3 tbsp Spinach puree
  • 2 to 3 tbsp Beetroot puree
  • 2 to 3 tsp Carrot puree
  • 1 1/2 tsp Garlic finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Crushed Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Butter

How to make Garlic - Cheese and Vegetable Swirl Bread

  1. Take lukewarm water, add sugar and yeast. Let it rise.
  2. Mix flour, salt, garlic and cheese in a mixing bowl. Divide the flour in 3 equal portions.
  3. Take one portion of the flour, add 2 tbsp of yeast water and 2 tbsp or more of spinach puree.
  4. Knead the dough well. Add 1/2 tsp of butter and knead for another 5 minutes. Leave it to rise double in size.
  5. Take the second portion of the flour, add add 2 tbsp of yeast water and 2 tbsp or more of carrot puree. Repeat the same process as the first dough.
  6. Take the third portion. add 2 tbsp of yeast water and 2 tbsp or more of Beetroot puree. Repeat the same process as the last 2 doughs.
  7. After all the 3 dough rises, sprinkle flour on the platform. Knead the dough once more.
  8. Roll the dough giving it a rectangular shape.
  9. Now place the carrot dough on the spinach dough and the beetroot dough on the carrot dough. Sprinkle the crushed pepper.
  10. Roll the dough into a cylindrical shape. Take a bread tin, it should be the size of the dough, grease the tin.
  11. Place the dough in the bread tin.. Put the seal side downwards. Let it rise till double in size
  12. Bake the dough at 180 degrees Celsius for 20 to 25 minutes.
  13. Cool the bread completely before slicing.
