Banana Blossom Cutlets

Ingredients to make Banana Blossom Cutlets

  • Banana flower 1
  • Oil 2 tbsps
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Chopped garlic 1 tsp Chopped green chilli 1 ½ tsps Chopped onion ½ cup Salt to taste

  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder ½ tsp
  • Cumin powder ½ tsp
  • Red chilli powder ½ tsp
  • Chopped coriander 1 tbsp
  • Boiled and ground red kidney beans 1 ½ cups
  • Garam masala 1 ½ tsps
  • Breadcrumbs 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 1
  • Breadcrumbs to coat
  • Oil to cook cutlets 1 tbsp

How to make Banana Blossom Cutlets

  1. Cut the banana flower, remove the flowers and add to the water.
  2. Chop the remaining banana flower and add to the water.
  3. Now strain the soaked and chopped banana flower.
  4. To prepare cutlet mixture on a pan heat oil and Add cumin seeds, chopped garlic, chopped green chili, chopped onion, salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, chopped banana flower and mix well.
  5. Remove this mixture in a bowl, mix in chopped coriander, boiled and ground red kidney beans, garam masala, breadcrumbs and lemon juice.
  6. Prepare cutlets of the mixture and coat with breadcrumbs.
  7. Heat oil in a pan and cook the cutlets.
  8. Place the banana flowers cover and arrange the prepared cutlets.
  9. Serve the banana flower cutlet with chutney.
