Ingredients to make Hara Bhara Kabab| Spinach Patties

  • Spinach/ Palak - 2 cups
  • Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup ( chopped)
  • Boiled Potato - 1 no ( medium)
  • Blanched Green peas - 1 cup
  • Green chillies - 3 -4 nos
  • Ginger - 1 inch piece
  • Amchur pd - 1/4 pd
  • Besan/ Bengal Gram Flour - 2 - 3 tbsp
  • Oil for shallow frying
  • Chaat Masala as needed
  • Salt to taste

How to make Hara Bhara Kabab| Spinach Patties

  1. Blanch the spinach in enough water and drain the the blanched spinach.
  2. In a blender blend spinach, coriander leaves, green chillies, Ginger,Cooked peas and blend them to a smooth paste.
  3. Mash the boiled potatoes in a bowl add the green paste and mix them well.
  4. Add salt, amchur pd , besan and mix them well.
  5. Divide them to equal parts and make round disc shapes. Wet your hand a bit helps to shape the kabab with ease.
  6. Heat a griddle or Tawa place the shaped kabab cook them in medium flame on one side.
  7. Once you see golden brown color flip them and cook them the other side the same way.Drizzle oil as needed to turn the kababs golden brown from both sides.
  8. Serve them Hot , sprinkle chaat masala on it and goes well with chutney or sauce.
