Steamed Veg Manchurian

Ingredients to make Steamed Veg Manchurian

  • For manchurian :Shredded cabbage -1 cup
  • Shredded carrots -3/4 cup
  • Small Sliced onions -1/2 cup
  • Green onions (optional)
  • Chopped ginger-1/4 tsp
  • Chopped garlic -1/4 tsp
  • Green chilles-1/2 tsp
  • Salt -1/2 Tsp
  • Black pepper -1/4 tsp
  • Cornflour as needed.
  • For gravy: chopped ginger -1/4 tsp
  • Oil- 1 tbsp
  • Chopped garlic -1/2 tsp
  • Salt according to taste
  • Soya sauce-1 tbsp
  • Cornflour -1 tbsp
  • Green chillies -1/2 tsp
  • Water or vegetable stock - 1 cup

How to make Steamed Veg Manchurian

  1. Squeeze the excess moisture from shredded cabbage and carrots.
  2. Now mix all the ingredients including cornflour. Add cornflour according to the batter just to bind the Manchurian.
  3. Make small dumplings.
  4. And steam it for 10 minutes on medium flame.
  5. Now take a pan and add oil.
  6. Add ginger, garlic, green chillies and saute.
  7. Add water /veg. stock and let it simmer.
  8. After that add salt,black pepper and soya sauce and mix it and let it simmer over high flame.
  9. Now add cornflour mixed in water and mix it fast.
  10. The gravy will turn thick enough.
  11. Before serving add steamed Manchurian and give it a boil.
  12. The steamed Manchurian is ready .
