Ingredients to make Kadai chicken with curry leaves

  • Chicken - 500 gm
  • Chopped onions - 2
  • Chopped tomatoes - 2
  • Slit green chillies -6
  • Curry leaves - 12
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder - 2 tsp
  • Jeera Powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt
  • Red Chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves
  • Red color (optional)
  • Refined oil

How to make Kadai chicken with curry leaves

  1. 1. Marinate the chicken with ginger- garlic paste, masala powders, salt and a little oil.
  2. 2. Heat the kadhai, add oil followed by chopped onions.
  3. 3. Saute till brown, then add the marinated chicken and cook on a low flame.
  4. 4. Once the chicken is almost done, add the tomatoes, curry leaves and slit green chillies.
  5. 5. Add water to make a gravy, serve with coriander leaves.
