Ingredients to make Selon Parotha

  • Ingredients for dough:
  • Maida 2 cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Water as required
  • Ingredients for chicken filling:
  • chicken mince 300 gm
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • coriander powder 1 tsp
  • garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • Salt
  • Half lemon juice
  • Coriander leaves 1 tbsp
  • Eggs 6

How to make Selon Parotha

  1. Make a dough of maida by adding salt water and oil, keep it aside.
  2. Filling: Heat oil, add cumin seeds, Ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  3. Add chicken, red chilli, coriander powder, garam masala and salt. Cook well till chicken is cooked, then add lemon juice, coriander leaves and take off from the heat.
  4. Filling in roti:
  5. Make 6 balls from dough.
  6. Take 1 dough, roll, add cooled chicken mixture, sprinkle chopped onion, chopped green chilli and 1 beaten egg. Fold it and seal. Cook on tawa. Serve with chutney or sauce.
