ABOUT Caramel Malida RECIPE

This is a very traditional bhori halwa.usually Jaggery is used.But I have used Hershey's Caramel syrup and it taste devine

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Rawa 1/2 kg
  2. Whole wheat flour 1/2 kg
  3. Eggs 3
  4. Milk 2 cups
  5. pure ghee 1 cup
  6. A pinch if salt
  7. Hersheys chocolate syrup 1 bottle
  8. Pure ghee 3 cups for frying

Instructions

  1. Take the flours,rawa, salt and the eggs
  2. Add the ghee and mix well
  3. Gradually add milk and make z tight dough
  4. Maje small muthiyas from the dough
  5. Deep fry the muthias in hot ghee
  6. Once cool grind the muthias
  7. Take ghee and add the Caramel syrup
  8. Gradually add the powdered muthias
  9. Mix well
  10. Cover and cook for 5 mins
  11. Once the oil separates close the stove
  12. Serve warm garnished with nuts
