Chicken Achari Tikka

Ingredients to make Chicken Achari Tikka

  • chicken boneless 300 gms
  • lemon juice 2 tbl spoon
  • ginger paste 1 tbl spoon
  • garlic 1 tblspoon
  • Kashmiri mirch powder 2tblspn
  • besan 2 tblspn
  • butter 1tblspn
  • Hung curd 3 tspn
  • mustard oil 2 tblspn
  • Meethi seeds 2tsp
  • saunf 2tsp
  • Rai 1 tsp
  • kalonji 2 tsp
  • Black salt 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying

How to make Chicken Achari Tikka

  1. Wash and cut chicken pcs into tikka size. Marinate it with ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, salt and kashmiri mirch powder. Keep aside for half an hour.
  2. In a pan, heat butter and add besan. Saute till it fragrant.
  3. Dry roast all the pickle masala i.e. methi dana, saunf, kalonji and rai seeds. Just roast, make it a point it should not turn black. Make a coarse powder of it using a mixer.
  4. Now in a bowl, add sauteed besan, hung curd, mustard oil, pickle masala and black salt. mix well. Add it to the marinated chicken and keep aside for an hour more.
  5. Heat oil in a pan, add chicken pieces one by one. Fry till golden brown in colour.
  6. Serve it with onion rings.
