Ingredients to make Macroni Pasta with Mushroom, Spinach and Walnut

  • 1 cup of macaroni pasta
  • 1 small bunch of spinach
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 6 mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup of walnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream
  • Some mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Black pepper

How to make Macroni Pasta with Mushroom, Spinach and Walnut

  1. Boil water and add salt. Cook the pasta until al dente. This takes about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, rinse the spinach and remove the stems. Place the wet spinach in a large frying pan, cover and cook until wilted.
  2. Remove the spinach, drain well, chop and set aside. In a clean frying pan saute the garlic, onions and mushrooms in the butter and olive oil until tender. Add the walnuts and toast slightly
  3. Add the spinach to the pan. Mix milk and cornflour and add the milk cornflour mixture and the cream. Cook until slightly bubbly. Add cheese.
  4. Season with salt and pepper. Drain pasta and toss with the sauce. Fry palak in oil and decorate it on top it. Serve hot.

My Tip:

Use more variety of cheese.
