ABOUT Sambar Maggi RECIPE

Maggi is most loved instant noodles in India.It is loved by all age groups, be it kids or adults. It is the zesty version of the classic noodles. Here I am making 2 min maggi noodles in south Indian style with tamarind,vegetables,onions and spices.A refreshing and taste will change from plain maggi noodles.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Boiled Tur dal. (Split pigeon peas). 1/2 cup
  2. Tamarind pulp. 3 tbsp
  3. Round pieces carrots. 2 tbsp
  4. Drum stick piece 5
  5. Brinjals. 2
  6. Beans pieces. 3 tbsp
  7. Curry leaves. 5
  8. Sliced onions. 1 medium
  9. Slitted green chillies. 2
  10. Dry Red chilli. 1
  11. Mustard. 1/2tsp
  12. Fenugreek seeds. 10 no
  13. Cumin seeds. 1/2tsp
  14. Asafoetida(hing). 1/4 tsp
  15. Sambar powder. 2 tsp
  16. Red chilli powder. 1/2tsp
  17. Turmeric powder. 1/4 tsp
  18. Salt. To taste
  19. Oil. 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat the along with oil. Add mustard seeds,cumin seeds and fenugreek seeds
  2. Add sliced onions, green chillies and fry till the onions become golden brown.
  3. Add vegetables and fry till they become smooth
  4. Add red chilli powder,sambar powder, turmeric powder and tamarind pulp and some water . Cook for 7-8 min
  5. Add boiled dal ,salt and water mix it well.Again cook for 10 min
  6. Add 2 min maggi noodle and cook for 3 min.
