Makhani Tandoori Kulche

Ingredients to make Makhani Tandoori Kulche

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup maida
  • 1/2tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup curd (little sour)
  • 1 tbsp carom seeds
  • 1 tsp of crushed kasuri methi
  • Some fresh chopped coriander
  • 3tbsp of white butter + to serve(room temperature )
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1tsp sugar
  • salt as per taste

How to make Makhani Tandoori Kulche

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl
  2. Make a well in the dry ingredients and slowly add the wet ingredients little by little.
  3. Keep kneading and mixing the flour gently
  4. Once the dough is done keep it in warm place covered with wet kitchen towel for 2-3 hours.
  5. This will help the dough to rise well.
  6. Now take medium sized ball from the dough and pat it on a floured surface with the help of your fingers
  7. Repeat the process and prepare atleast 2-3 of them
  8. Now put them in the tandoor and let them cook on slow - medium heat
  9. Flip over once it's golden
  10. Cook from both the sides
  11. Serve hot with more butter and some pickle.
