Daliya Ragada Pattice

Ingredients to make Daliya Ragada Pattice

  • Daliya 1 katori
  • potatoes 2
  • Green peas (fresh or frozen) 2 katori
  • onion 2 ( big )
  • tomatoes 2
  • tamarind paste 1 tsp
  • Salt, haldi, red chilli powder, sev usal masala, garam masala and dhania powder - 1 tsp each
  • Chia seeds 1 tbsp (black)
  • oil for shallow frying
  • coriander leaves or fresh parsley for garnish

How to make Daliya Ragada Pattice

  1. Roast and pressure cook Daliya with 3 katori water.
  2. Boil and mash potatoes
  3. Mix potatoes, daliya, turmeric, salt , chilli powder, garam masaala and grated garlic Add little oil. Take little oil in hand and former pattice.
  4. Grease and tawa and shallow fry pattice.
  5. Now cook green peas. Heat oil in a pan and add blended onion, saute.
  6. Now add all masala ( sev usal masaala too )
  7. Add tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes. Add cooked green peas. Adjust salt.
  8. Now serve your pattice with Ragada.
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves
  10. Very yummy.

My Tip:

You also can add different vegetables like spinach or carrot in pattice.
