Ingredients to make Spinach, Bottle Gourd, Carrot and Cucumber Suji Idli

  • Suji 1 katori
  • curd 1 1/2 katori
  • spinach leaves cut small 1 katori
  • Kheera 1 grated
  • ginger grated 1tsp
  • Salt and pepper
  • oil for seasoning
  • For seasoning. Mustard seeds, asafoetida, urad daal , curry patta, green chillies cut.
  • Roasted sesame seeds. 1 tsp

How to make Spinach, Bottle Gourd, Carrot and Cucumber Suji Idli

  1. Mix suji, curd, spinach leaves carrot, bottle gourd and cucumber. Add grated ginger
  2. Add salt and pepper
  3. Add water and make batter
  4. Season it
  5. Grease idli moulds and tranfer batter in idli stand . Spread roasted sesame seeds on it
  6. Steam for 5 minutes
  7. Serve with fresh coconut chutney

My Tip:

Put all idli in stand otherwise you need to add water again and salt also accordingly. As it's suji you can give to infants from 10 months onwards. Fermented one is not really good for infants.
