Garlic Bread

Ingredients to make Garlic Bread

  • 100 gms maida
  • 1 gm dry active yeast
  • Half cup lukewarm water to activate yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • garlic 4 Cloves
  • olive oil 1 tbsp
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • salt 1 tsp
  • Oregano 1 tbsp

How to make Garlic Bread

  1. Add yeast to water and sugar, leave for 10 mins till it is active and frothy.Then add flour portion by portion with olive oil ,butter,garlic,salt and oregano. Knead for 15 mins. Keep it aside then put some olive oil and knead for 2 more mins.
  2. Rest in fridge for good 3 to 4 hours. Take it out and roll flatly like a chapati brush butter nicely and make a semicircle. Dust with some corn meal.
  3. Bake on 180 °for 5 to 6 mins. Bake on 220° for 5 minutes more. Your garlic bread is ready!

My Tip:

Serve with tandoori mayonnaise!
