Cheese Fried Rice

Ingredients to make Cheese Fried Rice

  • 1 1/2 cup steam rice
  • 1 onion
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped carrot
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 green chilli
  • 2 stalks green onion finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • salt to taste
  • 1 cube cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter

How to make Cheese Fried Rice

  1. Cut onion into thin slices and finely chop the green chillies.
  2. Take a pan and heat some oil, fry the onions, chilli, ginger and garlic.
  3. Cook them for 2 minutes on a medium flame.
  4. Add cabbage, carrot, green onions and cook them for 2 minutes. Do not over cook them.
  5. Add soya sauce and salt to taste. Add prepared steam rice. Cook them just for 2 minutes on medium heat.
  6. Turn off the flame, transfer the rice on a serving plate.
  7. Garnish with butter and grated cheese.

My Tip:

Use basmati rice. You can add chilli sauce to make it spicy.
