Murmure ki Namkeen

Ingredients to make Murmure ki Namkeen

  • Puffed rice 2 cups
  • peanuts 1/2 cup
  • Makhane 1/2 cup
  • salt 1 tsp
  • Black salt 1/2 tsp
  • Dry mango pwoder 2 tsp
  • A pinch of hing
  • turmeric 1 tbsp
  • curry leaves 12 nos
  • green chillies 4 nos
  • Sliced coconut 2 tbsp
  • oil 4 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp

How to make Murmure ki Namkeen

  1. Heat 1/ and 1/2 tsp ghee in a non-stick pan and fry the peanut first. Next, fry the makhana.
  2. Now roast the puffed rice and coconut.
  3. Then add the remaining ghee and saute the curry leaves, green chillies, add in turmeric and the fried ingredients. Mix well, then add black pepper, black salt, and plain salt. Turn off the flame.
  4. Let it cool and keep it in an air tight container.

My Tip:

You can also add some chopped nuts and raisins.
