Ingredients to make Paneer Baby Corn Calzone

  • all purpose flour 1 cup
  • salt 1/2 tbsp
  • Warm water 1/4+1/4 cup
  • sugar 1/2 tbsp
  • Active dry yeast 1/2 tbsp
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • garlic 4 Cloves
  • onion 1 medium sized
  • capsicum 1 small sized
  • Babycorn 6 nos
  • paneer 50 gm
  • tomato 1 medium sized
  • red chilli powder 1/4 tsp
  • Mixed herbs 1/4 tsp
  • red chilli flakes 1/4 tsp
  • tomato sauce 1 tbsp
  • Grated mozzarella cheese 50 gm
  • salt to taste

How to make Paneer Baby Corn Calzone

  1. Take 1/4 cup water in a pan and heat till it's warm. Add the yeast and sugar to the warm water. Mix well and let it rest for 10 mins till it's frothy.
  2. Meanwhile, mix the all purpose flour and salt in a mixing bowl. Add the yeast mixture and mix it well.
  3. Add upto 1/4th cup of warm water and mix it well till a soft dough is obtained. Add a little oil and knead for about 5 mins. Keep the dough covered for about an hour.
  4. In a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil, add garlic and fry it.
  5. Then add the onion, capsicum, baby corn, fry it for about 5 mins. Add the tomatoes and cook for 2 mins.
  6. Add the salt and red chilli powder, cook it for 1 more minute.
  7. Add small pieces of paneer and mix it well. Then add the mixed herbs, red chilli flakes, tomato sauce and mix it well. Then turn off the flame and allow the mixture to cool.
  8. Punch down the dough to release the air inside. Divide the dough into four equal portions.
  9. Roll out each of the portions to a 7 to 8 inch circles. Place the stuffing inside and spread some mozzarella cheese on top.
  10. Fold the rolled out sheet into half so that it forms a semi circle. Seal the ends using a fork.
  11. Preheat the microwave in convection mode at 200 degrees C.
  12. Place the calzones (two at a time) in the baking tray. Bake the Calzones for 10 to 15 minutes or until they turn golden brown in colour.
