Ingredients to make Paneer tikka with panchfodan flavour

  • 1 tbsp homemade green chlli pickle
  • hung curd half cup
  • chopped garlic 1 tsp
  • fenugreek seeds 1tsp
  • fennel seeds 1tsp
  • mustard seeds 1tsp
  • cumin seeds 1tsp
  • nigella seeds 1tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • mustard oil 1tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • paneer cubes one and a half cup
  • oil for greasing

How to make Paneer tikka with panchfodan flavour

  1. Combine the pickle, all the seeds and chopped garlic in a mixer and blend to a coarse mixture.
  2. Mix well the mixture and the hung curd into a deep bowl and your marinade is ready
  3. Add paneer cubes to the marinade, mix and keep aside to marinate for 20 minutes.
  4. Now, put the marinated paneer cubes on toothpick sticks and keep aside.
  5. Heat a tawa, grease it with oil and place a few ready sticks on it. Cook on medium flame, using a little oil, till they turn golden brown in colour from all four sides.
  6. Repeat the above step to cook all the sticks
