Vegetable fried rice

Ingredients to make Vegetable fried rice

  • Precooked basmathi rice- 1 cup
  • carrots and Cabbage, finely chopped - 1/2 cup
  • capsicum (green, red and yellow) - 1/2 cup
  • paneer, diced - 1/4 cup
  • garlic, finely chopped - 2 tsp
  • ginger, finely chopped - 2 tsp
  • Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  • Green chilli sauce - 1 tsp
  • White pepper powder- 2 tsp
  • salt to taste

How to make Vegetable fried rice

  1. In a wok, heat some oil and add the finely chopped ginger and garlic.
  2. Once they turn golden, add the carrots, cabbage and saute for a minute.
  3. Add the bell peppers, pepper powder, soy sauce, green chilli sauce and salt. Then add the paneer and saute for a minute.
  4. Add the pre cooked rice, toss well and let the flavours sink in. (This should take no more than a minute.)
  5. Check for seasoning and serve it hot.
