#bbcookoff #tricolourcontest/Let's celebrate with this independence Day with traditional way. Here I have made nankhatai Macaroons ,for that I have used mango and pistachio for tricolour flag. Something unique yet totally Indian!!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Semolina-1/2-Cup
  2. All purpose flour-1/2-Cup
  3. Powdered sugar-1/2-Cup
  4. Ghee-1/4-Cup
  5. Mango puree-3-Tbsp
  6. Coarsly ground pistachio-3-Tbsp
  7. Orange and green food colour-1/8 -Tsp
  8. Whip cream-1/4-Cup
  9. Icing sugar-1-Tsp

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl beat powdered sugar and ghee till light. Add maida, mix well, add sooji.
  2. Mix like breadcrumbs. Make two parts.
  3. In one part add coarsely ground pistachio and green food colour.
  4. In second part add mango puree and orange food colour.
  5. Knead a medium dough. Let it cover for 10 minutes.
  6. Make round shaped nankhatai. Heat kadai with rack, arrange nankhatai on greased plate. Cover and cook for 30 minutes. Let it cool.
  7. Beat whip cream with icing sugar till fluffy, take mango nankhatai ,apply cream evenly and cover with pistachio nankhatai. Serve it.
