Ingredients to make Milk cake

  • milk- 6 cups
  • lemon juice - some drops
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Pure ghee - 2 tsp
  • pistachios - 1 tbsp

How to make Milk cake

  1. put 6 cups of milk in a pan.
  2. Start boiling in a medium heat.
  3. Put lemon juice and stir.when milk is curdle stop boiling.
  4. Soak the water of milk.add sugar,cardamom powder and pure ghee in the curdle milk ( chhena).mash and stirring continuously well (5-7) minutes.
  5. Greece a tray with ghee and spread the mixture on tray.
  6. Garnish with pistachio and rest for some time.cut the pieces of milk cake and enjoy.

My Tip:

Use cow's milk for best result.

i dont understand the 4th point.can we use the curdled water or should i strain it?reply fast. want to try

drain the water content and transfer the chhena again to the pot and place on fire. stir constantly to prevent burning till the water is soaked and chhena becomes dry. this works for me.
